Established in 2008, the Ruston Fold of Highland Cattle is located in the small village of Ruston, in the Vale of York, some 10 miles inland from Scarborough, on the Yorkshire Coast.

Our stunning animals are reared naturally in open fields all year round, thriving in all weather conditions and dutifully managing the farm’s hay meadows. Extremely friendly, the cattle are very well cared for, halter-trained and used to plenty of handling from both adults and children.

The foundation heifers come from excellent bloodlines and have pedigree certificates from the Highland Cattle Society, with whom we are registered. Visitors are always welcome by appointment.
